WHAT WE MEAN BY "PERSONAL INFORMATION"
Konfidis collects two types of information from users of the Site:
Konfidis does not collect your personal information through the Site, except for when you voluntary provide such personal information to us for the purposes of requesting Konfidis to contact you or for the purposes of registering for an account on the Site. Please note that certain services associated with the Site may not be available to you if you choose not to provide your personal information as they cannot be supplied without your personal information.
2) Device Information:
(i) IP Address: When you access the Site, our web servers automatically collect your IP address, which is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you are surfing the Internet. We collect your IP address for the purposes of understanding Site activity and to monitor and improve the Site. Normally, we will not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, meaning you will remain anonymous. However, we can and will use IP addresses to identify a user for the purposes of enforcing compliance with our rules or terms of service or to protect our service, the Site, or any person, or where it is otherwise permitted by law.
(ii) Cookies: The Site uses standard technology known as “cookies”, which are small data files that allow websites to store information on your hard drive about your web-surfing preferences. Cookies do not store passwords or credit card information.
Improve usability of the site by pre-populating website fields with information you entered earlier or by remembering what a user did previously;
Reduce the likelihood that someone is able to scrape the Site;

(iii)Tracer Tags and Web Beacons: The Site may also use “tracer tags” or “Web Beacons”, which is technology that allows us to understand which pages you visit on the Site and allow us to optimize and tailor the Site for our users.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Konfidis will not share, disclose, trade, rent, sell, or otherwise transfer your personal information, without your consent, except under specified circumstances, including, but not limited to:
(i) Third-Party Service Providers: We may disclose some or all of your personal information to our affiliates or other third party service providers who provide us with various services, such as administration, printing, marketing and advertising, hosting, data analysis, legal and accounting.
(ii) Business Transactions: We may transfer some or all of your personal information that we have as an asset in connection with a prospective or completed merger or sale involving all or part of Konfidis or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.
(iii) Legal. We and our affiliates and third-party service providers may disclose your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law or detecting, suppressing or preventing fraud, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable Canadian law. We may also disclose personal information if required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and to investigate or prevent actual or suspect loss or harm to persons or property.
While Konfidis will take all available steps to keep your personal information secure and confidential, Konfidis cannot promise or warrant the security of any personal information provided to us through the use of the Site and our online products or services. By accessing this Site, you expressly acknowledge and agree that any transmission of personal information to us is done at your own risk.
HOW CAN YOU ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
You have the right to access, update, and correct any inaccuracies in the personal information that is in our possession and control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. Certain profile information that you have provided to us through registering an account on the Site can be changed by logging in to your account and through your profile “Settings”.
